This is my latest portrait commission of John Wooden, UCLA basketball coach. After research, I found him to be not only a great coach but also a great human being. I thought they had broke the mold when Bear Bryant was made, but I changed my mind after learning more of John Wooden. He is still alive and will turn 100 years old next year. He has another fan and I am glad I discovered him.
This is probably my last post until next year. I am looking forward to a productive year and hopefully more discoveries.
